We don’t “Paint” Kitchen Cabinets - We lacquer the heck out of them.
We may refer to the process as "painting" when refinishing kitchen cabinets, but make no mistake, we ONLY use High-End Italian-made lacquer to achieve an unbelievably smooth, durable, and washable finish.

Our process for
painting Kitchen Cabinets
Being able to spray kitchen cabinets and make them look as good as we do is a difficult thing to do. Add on the entire process plan of getting a whole kitchen done within 5 days - that is what we call being professional Kitchen Cabinet Refinish-ers.
We have perfected the process from when we will be in your home working and when we are back at the shop, working in the spray booth.
You will be amazed on how organized and professional of a painting company we are when you see how easy it is to work with us.
Removal and Prep
We’ll remove all the cabinet hardware, doors, and drawer fronts at your house and transport them back to our shop to begin prepping them. We degrease, sand, and make any needed repairs.
Lacquer Application
Once everything at our shop is prepped, we will apply a bonding primer for ultimate adhesion to all sides of the doors.
We then sand again, inspect for flaws, repair as needed, and then apply two coats of top-quality lacquer.
In house application
We are back at your home and start with protecting your space by masking everything, tenting off the kitchen, and setting up a ventilation system.
Once that is set up, we will begin the prep work in the same manner as the doors. Bonding primer, along with inspections for any repairs and top coat with Lacquer.
Reinstall doors and Clean
We will take down and dispose of all the masking and reinstall everything that was previously removed.

Paint Vs Lacquer for Kitchen Cabinets
It isn’t just the paint vs lacquer that is in question here but really what is underneath. In order for your kitchen cabinets to be durable and last for years, the prep work and the primer is essential to pulling everything together.
We degrease all cabinets prior to sanding the areas as this will allow us to remove the contaminants and not sand them into the doors. Next we Power Sand all areas to roughen up the surface and find any imperfections.
The primer that we use is the best that is out there. It is a Vinyl Bonding Primer that will stick to practically anything and allow other top coats to adhere properly.
Sometimes, we will have to use a block staining primer if some stains are coming through.
The next key thing is the top coat that we apply. Paint can work but why use paint when you can use something stronger and more washable? We use the same type of products that cabinet manufacturers use on new kitchen cabinets. We buy it from the same stores and have the same equipment to apply it.
So when it comes to refinishing your kitchen cabinets, don’t settle for something that will look alright. Our refinishing will allow you to have the kitchen in the color that you love and a beautiful smooth finish.
